The Louisville citizens committee has forwarded its recommendation to the Louisville Board of Education. The committee began work last fall on studying facility needs for the school district.

The Cassgram reports that the committee report says it "has come to a consensus on the general scope" for renovations to the existing building, a new addition, parking improvements, and upgrades to the outdoor athletic fields and playground.

There are several elements to the renovation that include a new HVAC system in the elementary building and upgrades to the rest of the building’s heating, air conditioning, fire, electrical and plumbing systems.

The list includes locker room improvements and remodeling middle school classrooms. Window replacements, a new elementary gym floor and other remodeling to allow for a re-arrangement of current space for other uses are in the proposed plan.
