A Nebraska man will spend the two years behind bars in connection to the theft of 11 guns from Cabela's.

Trenton Smith of Valentine, Nebraska was sentenced to 24 months for unlawful possession of a short shotgun and machine gun.

Last spring, investigators say 11 firearms were stolen from the Sidney Cabela's. At the time, Smith worked at the store. Officials served a warrant at Smith's home and found 10 of the 11 stolen guns, as well as other merchandise that appeared to be stolen.

As part of a plea deal, Smith has pleaded guilty to felony theft. He has not yet been sentenced on that charge.
