The Omaha Children's Museum has some new members on its board.

The Board of Directors has appointed five new members to three-year terms. New board members are Timothy Bird of The Lincoln Financial Group, Dr. Isabelle Cherney of Creighton University, Jeff Mueller of Hy-Vee, Sharlon Rodgers of Methodist Hospital and Andee Scioli of Kutak Rock.

Christine Stevens has also joined the Board of Directors for one year as president-elect of the museum's Rainbow Connector's Guild.

The Omaha Children's Museum is a special place where children can challenge themselves, discover how the world works and learn through play. The mission of Omaha Children's Museum is to engage the imagination and create excitement about learning.
