A 70-year-old man was killed in a farming accident southeast of Waverly late Monday night or early Tuesday morning.
The Lancaster County Sheriff's Department says it appears the tractor got stuck in a muddy field and in an attempt to get it out it tipped over, pinning John Lukes.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
