More victims of a suspected check scam are continuing to come forward. A Six On Your Side investigation led to the arrest of the woman believed to be behind the scam Tuesday.

Laura Peyton posted a $450 bond and is now free from Sarpy County Jail, but her legal troubles appear to be far from over.

Peyton is accused of writing bad checks to women who run sales businesses out of their homes for extra income. She has also allegedly tried to turn around and sell the items on the internet, making a profit off of her bad checks.

Already in trouble in Sarpy County, now Douglas County has 10 pending cases against Peyton for her bad checks.

If she does not start making good by next week, more warrants could be issued for her arrest.
