Sentencing in another case tied to the September 9th, 2007 baseball bat beating incident in Plattsmouth.

18-year-old Justin A. Johnson of Plattsmouth was sentenced to 30 days in jail and must pay a $100 fine. He had pleaded guilty to 3rd degree assault—fighting by mutual consent, a Class II Misdemeanor.

The Cassgram reports that the state remained silent at sentencing, part of a plea agreement.

Cass County Attorney Nathan Cox has said that Johnson was on the phone with a girl from Weeping Water when Joshua Hauschild of Weeping Water got on the phone with Johnson and there was an "invitation to fight." Cox said Johnson and Anthony Houchin then fought in the backyard of the Tony Premo Sr. residence.
