A 12-year-old boy was killed in a one-vehicle accident two miles north of Humphrey, Nebraska Sunday morning. The driver of the car was his 14-year-old brother.

The Nebraska State Patrol says Austin Classen was a passenger in the car as the pair headed to church when it left a gravel road and overturned in a creek. Humphrey is located between Norfolk and Columbus.

The driver was able to get out of the car and flag down a motorist for help. Austin was pronounced dead at the scene.
