The Cassgram reports gulty pleas for school bus vandalism.
20-year-old Kelli M. Yun of Louisville and 20-year-old Christin J. Strong of Gretna both originally faced felony counts for damage to a Louisville school bus last July, but recently entered guilty pleas to one count each of Class I Misdemeanor criminal mischief. Both will be sentenced in Cass County District Court February 2nd.
The plea agreements include a recommendation of probation from the prosecution. They are to pay restitution of $1,868 each, most of which is coming from the bonds posted after their arrests.
Prosecutors say Yun and Strong entered the bus through the rear door, causing damage to the door, and then broke windows, spread trash, spray painted obscenities and sprayed the fire extinguisher on the inside of the bus.
