The United States Postal Service has unveiled the lineup of new stamps for 2009. Among the stamps to be featured, one displaying the Nebraska state flag.
The stamp will be in the fourth series of commemorative stamps called “Flags of our Nation”. On September 4, 2009, stamps will be released showing the flags from Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, and North Dakota.
A stamp featuring the Iowa state flag was issued in September 2008.
