Personal Marijuana Garden Alleged
When a Council Bluffs man came home Monday afternoon, he found the Pottawattamie County’s Drug Task Force inside his apartment and handcuffs on his wrist.
Investigators tell Channel 6 News that someone provided a tip that Benjamin Petersen, 20, had a personal marijuana growing operation in his apartment near North 35th & Avenue G.
Petersen was promptly arrested, booked, and then released from the county jail. He will have a preliminary hearing sometime later. Investigators say they found 53 plants in Petersen’s apartment. All but a few of them were in the “seedling” stage of growing.
