Macaroni Assault Man Back In Jail Following Another Incident
A North Platte man who plead guilty to assaulting his girlfriend with a cooking pot because she had fixed macaroni for dinner is in trouble again.
He's back in jail after another alleged assault.
Police say Donald Jacobs Jr. was arrested on Jan. 18 after officers responded to a disturbance at the couple's apartment.
The couple was arguing and Jacobs allegedly threw the woman to the ground and is now facing domestic abuse charges.
During a court hearing on Thursday, a judge reduced his bond from $10,000 to $5,000.
Jacobs was accused in November of assaulting the woman with a cooking pot after she made macaroni for dinner.
Jacobs plead guilty back in December to a misdemeanor charge of third-degree domestic assault in connection to the incident.
He had been charged with second-degree domestic assault, which is a felony.
