Friday November 28 marks the beginning of the Walnut Christmas Walk. Walnut which bills itself as Iowa’s Antique City kicks off the holiday season with a series of events beginning on Thanksgiving weekend.

Events include a Christmas Tree Festival at the Walnut Welcome Center Friday and Saturday 9:30 AM to 5:00PM, Sunday: 12:30 to 4:00PM.

The Country School Museum will be open all three days. Musical events are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday and Santa Clause will be on hand all weekend.

This is the 27th year for the Walnut Christmas Walk.

Walnut Iowa is approximately fifty miles East of Omaha on Interstate 80.
