One day after burying her 12-year-old daughter, Melissa Harris says closure will now be a work in progress for the family.

Who killed Amber Harris and why are questions left unanswered for the family. No arrests have been made in connection with her murder.

Melissa says that might be the last piece of the family's tragic puzzle.

"You don't want to assume or jump to conclusions," she says. "You want to make sure that they catch the right person or persons. That's what gives you the patience."

Had Amber lived, she would be celebrating her 13th birthday this Tuesday. On that day her family plans to hold a balloon release to celebrate Amber's life and spirit.
