Mid-air at the Henry Doorly Zoo won't just be for the birds anymore; Zoo officials are working on an ski lift type of device called Skyfari.
"It will be going over the giraffes, the garden of senses and you'll eventually end up going over the top of the elephants. You'll get a whole different view of the zoo from this aerial ride." says Danny Morris.
After chasing their one year old granddaughter around the zoo for a half day an aerial ride sounds good to Jim and Lynn Bryant.
"I think it will be a real nice addition to the zoo, they have the tram and the train, its just a real nice addition." Jim Bryant says.
Lynn Bryant is ready for a new perspective. "Just the difference of being able to see the whole park the whole zoo and being up high, it would be fun."
The Skyfari will cost about one and a half million dollars to complete, and zoo officials are looking for donations to cover the cost.
The project should be complete by April.
