About 30 workers have been treated for ammonia exposure at a northeast Nebraska meat plant.
The ammonia leak occurred around 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Tyson Foods plan in Madison.
A spokeswoman for Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk says the hospital treated 10 workers for minor chemical inhalation. They have been released.
Other workers were treated at Columbus Community Hospital in Columbus.
The cause of the leak and other details about the incident have not been released. A Tyson spokesman didn't immediately return
messages Friday from The Associated Press.
