Douglas County Sheriff's Department deputies took three suspects into custody when they went to 156th and Reynolds to investigate a report of a suspicious car. The car matched the one described as being involved in numerous hydrant openings in Omaha.
Deputies saw 26-year-old Benjamin Palmer, 27-year-old Joshua Labenz and 27-year-old Zachary Wright opening a hydrant.
Matulka said the locations included 48th and Martha, 46th and Pacifc, 44th and William, 32nd and Oak, 62nd and Poppleton, 57th and State, 44th and Spring, 59th and Pierce, 154th and Willit, 156th and Reynolds and 157th and State.
