It's been eight days since 35-year-old Tracy Tribble disappeared from her home in Council Bluffs. Her father, John Gostomski, says he's not optimistic about his daughter's fate.
There is a reward in the case and John says, "Originally we put on there "for her safe return," but we really don't think she will come back. And if we kept that on there and if there's any sleaze-ball out there that did something to her, they would not come forward. So we took that off. We just want to find her."
Debbie Kavanda runs a day care next door to the Tribble home and she says, "It's an eerie feeling because we don't know what's going on."
Debbie watched Thursday afternoon as crime scene investigators went through the home again collecting evidence.
Council Bluffs Police Sgt. Pat Toscano says, "As far as the lady's (Tracy's) husband, he's a person of interest because he was the last one to see her. There's nothing to indicate foul play or anything unusual at this time."
Family and friends just know it's unusual that more than a week has passed and she hasn't contacted anyone.
John Gostomski says, "I'm hoping she's at a spa someplace in California, fed up with him and took off. But I don't think she would ever do this."
Tracy Tribble's friends and family are organizing a search on Saturday that will begin in a parking lot down the street from her home: Kanseville Boulevard and Benton Street. It starts at 9 a.m.
If you know anything about the case, call Council Bluffs Police at 328-4764.
