I did not know Michael personally. What a tragic deal. I would keep my prayers with the family of him.

I worked with Michael for a few years and knew him well enough to know that he was a good man. I will miss him like crazy and it kills me to know that he is gone. He was a great friend and support system for me during some rough times. He was a responsible person and would never harm anyone.

It's called looking more than one car ahead when you're driving. Don't be a lemming 2 inches off the bumper of the guy ahead of you.

My family was caught on the interstate Saturday night due to the bridge construction going on up ahead. If this car was found directly off the side of the interstate I think the state of Iowa is partially responsible.I can't tell you how many cars we seen almost hit ones in front of them cause the interstate went from normal speed to a dead stop in no time at all & depending on where you ran into the back up you couldn't even see that the people up ahead were stopped,if there was a hill or incline in front of you at all you didn't know what to expect & considering the only sign was way east of the construction & it said construction in the next 29 miles may be delays. The state of Iowa knew there was a concert at Westfair Saturday & along with other traffic there should have been detours set up to get people off the interstate before this happened. My heart goes out to the guys family & am releived to hear that there were no other accidents that night cause seeing the situation I'm amazed.
