Police are investigating a Monday morning shooting that sent a 50-year-old man to the hospital in critical condition after an altercation with another man.
The shooting took place at Perry's Body Shop on 1116 North 20th Street at 10:06 a.m.
Police say two men got into an argument when John Cribbs was shot. The shooter fled by vehicle and there was no immediate word of his description.
Cribbs was transported to Creighton University Medical Center in critical condition, but police say his injury is not believed to be life-threatening.
Police say the suspect fled in a newer model white vehicle with tinted windows. They say the vehicle is possibly a Buick LeSabre.
