A red flag warning is in effect from 11 A.M. until 9 P.M. Tuesday. The combination of near record heat, somewhat dry vegetation and breezy winds will combine to produce potentially critical fire weather conditions.
Southwest winds increase to around 15 to 25 mph with higher gusts this afternoon. Humidity will drop below 20% for several hours. Those conditions combined with warm temperatures will cause any fires that develop to quickly spread. Outdoor burning is not recommended!
