Shots fired at a car Saturday morning sent an Omaha man to the hospital with a wound not believed to serious.

Police were called to a house near 37th and Burdette around 2 a.m. where they found 24-year-old Maurice Walker suffering from a gunshot wound.

Walker told police he was a passenger in a vehicle which was in the Kum and Go gas station parking lot at 30th and Lake when a group of males approached and an argument started.

Walker said he heard multiple gunshots as they drove away and he soon realized he had been hit. They drove to the house near 37th and Burdette to call 911.

Walker was taken to the Nebraska Medical Center for treatment. The gunman is being sought.
