A driver hit the gas pedal instead of the brake and slammed into a Lincoln bookstore Saturday. Three people suffered minor injuries.
Lincoln Police Capt. Anthony Butler says the 64-year-old woman crashed into the east side of the Barnes & Noble at 56th and O streets, rolling 40 feet through the cafe section before stopping.
Butler says there were no major injuries, but three people at the scene were treated for minor cuts and bruises. The driver said she tried to pull into a handicapped parking spot.
The store closed for the rest of the day.
