NCAA basketball is in high gear in the metro and downtown Omaha is the place to be, even if you don't have tickets to the games.
If you can't sit courtside at the Qwest Center to support your team, the next best spot is a stool at the Stadium Club in the Old Market.
Kansas fan Jackie Wolff says, "It's really fun down here. The old district is really nice. We tried to get hotel room but everything was all booked."
Finding tickets is even tougher.
Jayhawk fan Galen Zachritz says, "We thought we would have a chance to get tickets but for the moment being we can't get them."
Jackie says, "That's kind of unfortunate. We tried a little bit last night but one guy only had one ticket and we just couldn't. It was expensive too."
Some Wisconsin fans scored before they arrived.
David Winter says, "We actually each have two tickets so some of us might sell the other ticket and make some money. So, it's great."
Even Husker fans whose team didn't make it to the tournament find the action surrounding the big dance too exciting to pass up.
Brian Jensen says, "It's a great time -- a lot like the College World Series. Hope we put on a good show for everyone."
Many of the fans without tickets say they're just too expensive to buy but they're hoping to luck out and get tickets from some of the teams knocked out of the tournament.
