A trial date has been set for a Council Bluffs doctor charged with illegally distributing prescription drugs.

Dr. Benjamin Rosario, who practiced at Midwest Pain Management Center, is scheduled to go on trial August 1st at the federal courthouse in Des Moines. He was arrested April 19th on 13 counts of illegally distributing controlled substances. He pleaded not guilty last month. Rosario's medical license was suspended the day after his arrest.

Court documents indicate Rosario allegedly sold drugs to undercover agents or informants between May 2004 and April 2005.
