A flood warning continues for the Elkhorn River at West Point affecting Cuming County and near Pierce affecting Pierce County until late Monday night or until the warning is canceled.

Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

A few ice jams were reported on the Platte River Sunday afternoon, one downstream near Cedar Lakes with another further downstream near the Big Island area southwest of Fremont.

Water continues to dam up in these areas. Significant water fluctuations are possible with the ice action.

Flood warnings are also in effect for several rivers in central and southern Iowa as the runoff caused levels to quickly rise.
