An Omaha day care provider has been arrested for felony child abuse and her business shut down by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.
The emergency order issued to Sandra Johnson, also known as Sandra Minor, immediately suspends her license as a child care provider.
Police were called to Creighton University Medical Center on Sunday where staff advised officers that an 11-month-old had a broken arm. Police talked to the child’s mother who said it possibly happened at the child’s day care.
Johnson provided child care near 19th and Sprague streets. The order was effective December 28th.
Emergency orders are issued when necessary to protect the immediate physical well-being and safety of a child in a child care program.
