Twelve-year-old Cortavious King is recovering after being hit by a school bus on his way to school.
The accident happened Tuesday morning at 24th and Pratt. A Channel 6 News crews at the scene says King had missed his normal school bus, so he had taken a MAT bus.
When King got off the MAT bus he walked into the path of a First Student school bus.
The 12-year-old suffered a broken leg and pelvis and remains in the hospital.
