The victim works on the third floor of Methodist Hospital. It's a secured area which means people need a key card to get in. But in July, a victim had her wallet stolen right out of her desk.
Within hours, the charges started racking up on her accounts.
Video surveillance shows one of the places the criminal was successful, the Walmart near 90th and Blondo. The crook was denied at the Walgreens and CVS only a few blocks away.
At each location the criminal hit, he tried to buy phone cards and gas cards.
The victim wouldn't go on camera, but said this criminal spent close to nine hundred dollars in just a few hours.
What we all need to take away from this is even at a place like work, a person can never be too careful.
