Same Apartment Complex Hit By Thieves Again

This time it was an expensive bike. A few weeks back it was outdoor gear and archery equipment. Tenants at an Omaha apartment complex are frustrated with a rash of burglaries and so is the property manager.

"We're certainly aware of it and have invested in better security and new steel bars across older doors that didn't have them," said Richland Park property manager John Clark. "We're not going to just sit back and let this continue."

Omaha Police even made note of their repeat visits on a report filed by tenant Tessa Jacobson. "It should be noted that there have been several burglaries in this complex/building lately."

Richland Park isn't alone. Storage units and garages continue to be the target of thieves at complexes across Omaha.
