No Failure To Communicate Among Thieves

Two suspects armed with a pry bar and wire cutters had another piece of equipment that helped them stay one step ahead of police. It all seems to match a previous crime down to their method of communication.

"You can see in the video they had walkie-talkies," recalls Buffalo Co. owner Matt Jaeckel. "They were obviously communicating with someone outside who was serving as a lookout."

Jaeckel has been in the restaurant business for 20 years but says this is the first burglary he's ever had to deal with.

The suspects don't appear to be first timers, in fact their description, equipment and pattern all match another burglary during the first week of December involving the Douglas County Treasurer's office near 108th and West Maple Road.
