After thieves broke into his home the first time Neil Willer installed an alarm system. A second burglary prompted the addition of security cameras set up in plain sight so potential thieves would know they're on video. None of it worked. Thieves struck again but, at least this time, he has good images of the suspects.
Willer lives with his wife in a home that overlooks the Missouri River in far north Omaha. Willer says they left empty handed and were likely looking for other targets in his neighborhood just north of I-680. "After they left here they drove around the neighborhood at least twice. One of my neighbors told me he saw the truck go by twice," said Willer. Detectives confirmed for WOWT 6 News that the truck they were driving was stolen and these two are suspects in other burglaries.
Omaha Police have a copy of the video and you can see clear images of the suspects and how they kicked in his front door.
