An Omaha mission was among the targets we cover in this week's Burglaries & Break-ins report.

Heartland Hope Mission reported a burglary where $2 was taken from their petty cash drawer. The disturbing find was a knife that mission employees contend was left behind by the suspect.

An Omaha woman's home was also hit by thieves and she says it they weren't too worried about getting caught. "It happened sometime between 8:30 and noon because that's when I was at work," recalls Carol Durand. Her computer, television and jewelry were all stolen in the burglary near 85th and Cass.
