The Old Mattress Factory is a place for fun, food and drinks. Most of the time, it's packed with people.
But on July 7th, in the middle of the night when the doors were locked, a man decided to break-in.
"The police said it was probably someone who has been in here before," said Peter Violi, Manager.
The burglar stole a 50 inch plasma TV and the cable box.
"It's pretty frustrating. We uh, it wasn't up very long. We generally take them down after the college world series," said Violi.
Security footage shows the crook struggling with the heavy electronic as he tried to pull the TV off the wall.
"I thought it was going to fall off," said Violi. But somehow the crook caught it and out the door he went.
Because of historical restrictions on the building, The Old Mattress Factory isn't allowed to put windows out on the patio. It's a security flaw they are working to fix.
"We all alarmed and motioned inside. So we are working with our alarm company to alarm the doors outside, alarm the doors outside and to try and get our motion, be able to set our motion up in there. So if there is any motion it will alert the police department," said Violi.
For now, the Mat's back to having fun. They said one TV gone won't stop them from keeping customers happy.
