A handful of expensive bicycles have been stolen from Omaha apartment complexes and police believe they have video of the suspects responsible.

In a June burglary at the Broadmoor Complex near 65th and Center Streets the suspects were captured by security cameras stealing three Trek bicycles. Two of them belonged to Emily Schultz and her boyfriend. "Our bikes were locked on the rack at my apartment complex because we thought it was safer than the one at his," recalled Schultz.

The suspects pried the security door to the garage open before cutting the locks on carefully selected bikes. "There were bikes on the rack that weren't even locked up and that just reaffirms my belief that they knew what they were doing," said Schultz.

Omaha Police think these suspects are lkely responsible for bicycle thefts that match the same pattern at other complexes. Watch the video and if you recognize the suspects or have any information call 402-444-7867.
