Metro Teams Dunk Their Way Into Semifinals
At times it looked like a dunk contest. Rims were punished throughout the quarterfinal round of the Boys State Basketball Championships in Lincoln. This morning a handful of metro teams look to continue their quest for a state title.

At times it looked like a dunk contest. Rims were punished throughout the quarterfinal round of the Boys State Basketball Championships in Lincoln. This morning a handful of metro teams look to continue their quest for a state title.
Omaha Central plays Omaha Benson this morning at 9:00 am and the winner of that game will play the winner of Omaha South vs. Papillion-La Vista. The Class A Championship game is scheduled for Saturday at 1:00 pm.
In Class B, Elkhorn South plays South Sioux City at 7:00 pm with the winner advancing to Saturday's championship game scheduled for 6:30. They will play either top seeded Scottsbluff or Gretna who beat Waverly to advance.
