NCAA Volleyball Field Set: Nebraska-UMES, Creighton-Marquette
The NCAA Volleyball Tournament bracket was announced Sunday afternoon. Nebraska is a number 4 seed and will host Maryland-Eastern Shore on Thursday. Creighton will play Marquette Friday in Minneapolis.

The NCAA Volleyball Tournament bracket was announced Sunday afternoon. Nebraska is a number 4 seed and will host Maryland-Eastern Shore on Thursday. Creighton will play Marquette Friday in Minneapolis.
Kansas State (21-8) will play Northern Iowa (24-9) at 4:30 p.m. Thursday in Lincoln before Nebraska (23-6) takes the floor against the 28-5 Hawks at 7 p.m. or 30 minutes after the first match. The winners meet Friday at 7 p.m. for the right to move on to the Omaha Regional the following weekend.
K-State and Nebraska met in the second round in Lincoln a year ago with the Wildcats upsetting the Huskers in a five-set thriller.
Also on Thursday, Iowa State (20-7) hosts 25-6 IPFW at 8:30 p.m. Penn State, Stanford and Texas are the top three tournament seeds.
The Bluejays (28-3) play the Golden Eagles (27-6) at 4:30 p.m. Friday. Creighton is coming off its best season in program history, winning its first Missouri Valley Conference regular-season and MVC Tournament titles. The Bluejays have won a school-record 16 straight matches and enter the NCAA Tournament with a No. 21 national ranking, the program’s best mark ever.
