The Bison's Brooklyn Dyce got one by Bluejay goalkeeper Katie Jo Swanson at the 5:40 mark for a 1-0 lead.
Kelsey O'Donnell pulled the Jays even with 29:50 remaining as she blasted a pass from Lauren Cingoranelli into the back of the net.
The Jays out-shot the Bison 14-4, limiting North Dakota State to just three shots on goal. Swanson finished with two saves while Sierra Bonham and Katie McCormick had three saves for NDSU.
