The Pac-12 Conference announced Thursday that Nebraska’s September 8th game at UCLA will start at 6:30 p.m. Omaha time and will be televised by Fox.

The meeting will be the first between Nebraska and UCLA since 1994 and the 11th overall meeting between the schools. Nebraska holds a 6-4 advantage, including wins in six of the past seven meetings. Nebraska was victorious in its last trip to face UCLA at the Rose Bowl, winning 14-13 in 1993.

The addition of the prime-time national telecast gives Nebraska four scheduled prime-time telecasts for the 2012 season. Nebraska’s home game against Wisconsin on September 29th will be televised by ABC while its October 6th game at Ohio State and October 27th home game with Michigan will be carried on either ABC, ESPN or ESPN2. Each of those three games will kickoff at 7 p.m.

Game times and television information have also been set for three other 2012 games. The Huskers’ September 1st season opener with Southern Miss will be televised on ABC at 2:30 p.m. while the September 15th home contest with Arkansas State will be shown on ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU beginning at 11 a.m. NU’s regular-season finale at Iowa on Friday, November 23rd will be shown nationally on ABC beginning at 11 a.m.

Times and television information for Nebraska’s remaining five games will be announced six to 12 days in advance.
