Creighton scored four runs in the top of the ninth to down Bradley 7-4 Saturday afternoon in Peoria, Illinois.

Chance Ross put the Bluejays on the board in the first inning with a home run. The Braves answered with two runs in the second on Jarrod Eigsti's first career home run.

Anthony Bemboom doubled in the fourth and came around to score on Alex Staehely's single to tie the game. Staehely moved to second on a wild pitch, advanced to third on a sacrifice bunt by Mike Gerber and came home on Scott Thornburg's ground out to put CU up 3-2.

The Braves tied it in the home fourth on David Compitello's RBI single and took a 4-3 lead in the fifth when Mark Winkelman walked a man with the bases loaded.

In the ninth, Staehely reached when reliever Danny Gifford (4-1) hit him with a pitch. Gerber then walked and both runners moved into scoring position on a sacrifice bunt from Thornburg. Creighton evened the score at 4-4 when Jake Peter singled before taking the lead on a safety squeeze by Brennan Murphy that scored Gerber.

The Jays took a three-run lead when Ross doubled, driving in both Peter and Murphy. Reese McGraw (3-5) picked up his third win of the season, not surrendering a hit in his two innings of relief.

The Bluejays picked up their first road win of the conference regular-season, improving to 17-23 overall and 4-12 in The Valley, while the Braves fell to 25-18-1, 8-9 in conference play.
