Derrick and Clint Robinson powered the Omaha offense while Ryan Verdugo provided a quality start as the Storm Chasers downed Oklahoma City 4-2 Friday night at Werner Park.
After the first two batters were retired in the third inning, Jason Bourgeois doubled and Derrick Robinson walked. With Johnny Giavotella batting, a double steal moved the runners to second and third. RedHawk pitcher Dallas Keuchel (4-2) then intentionally walked Giavotella to load the bases for Clint Robinson, whose single to center brought home two runs.
Anthony Seratelli's third home run of the season in the fourth made it 3-0. An inning later, Derrick Robinson and Giavotella singled before Clint Robinson doubled in another run and Omaha led 4-0.
Oklahoma City's offense got going in the eighth. Brett Wallace doubled and scored on Brian Bixler's single. In the ninth, Scott Moore knocked his third homer of the year to make it 4-2.
Verdugo improved to 3-0, pitching seven innings of three-hit ball, striking out eight without walking a batter.
