Jarrod Dyson's RBI bunt single in the seventh inning scored Terry Evans with what proved to be the winning run in a 2-1 Omaha victory over Nashville Sunday afternoon at Werner Park.
Both teams scored a run in the first inning. Brooks Conrad, the second batter of the game, homered for the Sounds. Dyson led off the home first with a triple and scored on Johnny Giavotella's sacrifice fly.
The score remained 1-1 until the seventh when Evans and Ryan Eigsti singled to put runners at first and third. After Victor Garate replaced Seth McClung (0-2) on the mound for Nashville, Dyson welcomed him with a bunt base hit to put Omaha up 2-1.
