The Express quickly wiped out the Storm Chasers' lead and held on for a 2-1 win Friday night in Round Rock, Texas.
Omaha took a 1-0 lead in the fifth inning when Johnny Giavotella walked and scored on a Max Ramirez double.
The Express put two runs on the board in the bottom of the fifth. Joey Butler and Michael Bianucci singled. Yangervis Solarte then doubled home Butler. Bianucci scored on Dusty Brown's ground out.
Derek Hankins (1-2) got the win in relief. Will Smith (0-1) went seven innings, giving up the two runs on four hits and striking out five without walking a batter.
