You are always going to have trolls whose mission in life is to stir the pot. They take joy in making other people miserable probably because they are pretty pathetic people in their own right. Pity them and don't feed into their angst and misery. They have brainwashed themselves.
Nobody said we dedicate out lives to going to the games, and I don't support teams based upon their fan base. And yes, I do support them because I grew up watching them-- that's a bad thing? I have a lot of great memories watching games with my family growing up. The best part is, you love to criticize Husker fans while at the same time coming off as extremely asinine. Hypocrisy "doc"?
Haha jealously? Not exactly the word I would describe this with buddy. More like pride in actually being a normal citizen (Not dedicating my life to going to every husker game, owning every husker apparel, not raising my kids to focus on trying to become a husker). Id rather die bleeding normal blood than die with husker blood in my veins.
Youre right Nebraska has one more than 1 title in fact that was in the 1990s. Husker fans live in the past and are just as pathetic as Cub fans. Nebraska has been playing football for 112 years now and only been National Champs 5 times. Thats a title every 22 years. That's not even a dynasty more like a medic ore team. Good luck winning another one soon cuz college football has changed 10 fold since you won the last one. GOOD players go to coastal teams and any team can win now. Not like the days of Neb, Okla, or a Fla team. Everyone is good now. Lsu, Oregon, USC, etc. So keep wasting your time on a mediocre program, players, and coach. Nebraska hasn't won a conference championship in over 14 years but hey maybe you'll win a national championship 22 years from now. Lol.

Just read some of the comments & couldn't believe the narrow minded comments. Weather warnings had been out for days. Was iit really worth risking someone getting hurt so so called "fans" could sit, watch, & criticize.if it had been a real game they would have waited the lightening out get real. Enjoy a baseball or softball game & quit your whinning!
Those championships were years ago. And one of those we had to share it with Michigan so that doesn't count. And Johnny the Jet robs a gas station and gets a trophy named after him. T.O lets L.P play. Lots of neat husker legends in the slammer.
Even the Vietnam "conflict" had weather reports. If you were spending money you didn't have then maybe you should have used your "nam" training and stayed home.

Please, please, please hire Petrino before someone else gets him. Pelini can stay on as Defensive Coordinator, but after we find a replacement (one of the Stoops brothers) he's gone. Cancelling and not rescheduling this game is just the beginning of the end for this season.
On FRIDAY the forecast for Lincoln called for extreme and violent weather Saturday. Who in their right minds would go to the stadium and expect the game to go on. Dummies!
Husker fans are far from the worst fans! That just shows how stupid some people are. The huskers have more then one championship too so get your facts right because you look like an idiot commenting about a team you obviously know nothing about!
