You obviously pay NO attention if you think the Huskers have only won ONE National Championship. They have, in fact, won FIVE.
There are teams that have never won, and likely will never win, and they still have fans. People can be a fan of whatever team they choose.
Most people have lives outside of football. Just because they are a fan of something doesn't mean they dedicate their lives to it.
Did you not notice the LIGHTNING? Even NFL games are called for lightning. It is against rules to play if there is lightning within 15 miles. Had it been just rain, it would have been game on.

Yes people do that because the tickets were 10 dollars some people cant aford to drive the long drive and stay in a motel AND buy 100 dollar tickets, for just a glimpse of the husker magic. If you dont get it you never will.

I cannot believe for the life of me that anyone would be so stupid as to actually go to Memorial Stadium when the city of Lincoln was under the highest risk level possible of life threatening tornadoes. Is it true that 60 thousand people actually showed up? Good grief!!!!!!!
I live in Michigan and Mark sounds just like the blue & stinkin' yellow whiners that cry over the Nat'l Championship not being all theirs. The only ones I ever hear reliving the LP decision are blue and yellow.
