Ninth-Inning Error Sinks Mavericks 3-2
For the second-straight day, Indiana State defeated Nebraska Omaha in walk-off fashion, 3-2 Saturday in Terre Haute.

For the second-straight day, Indiana State defeated Nebraska Omaha in walk-off fashion, 3-2 Saturday in Terre Haute.

UNO (11-32) took the lead in the fourth as Colby McCord singled, was sacrificed to second and scored on an Alex Mortensen single.

Jeremy Lucas hit a two-run homer in the fifth to put the Sycamores (34-10) up 2-1.

Brady Hohl singled in the ninth. With two outs and Hohl still at first, Caleb Palensky delivered a double to the gap in right center that tied the game at 2-2.

In the bottom of the ninth, ISU's Jeff Miera led off with a double. Tyler Wampler drew a walk and Landon Curry reached on a fielder's choice with a sacrifice bunt. On the play, Miera scored the winning run on an errant throw into left field.

Devin Moore (4-3) earned the win, allowing one run on two hits with one strikeout in the final inning. Josh Bullock (0-4) took the loss, surrendering the winning unearned run on one hit in the ninth. Bullock also had a pair of strikeouts.
