Albuquerque scored five runs in the seventh inning to defeat the visiting Storm Chasers 9-7 Sunday afternoon.

Omaha took a 1-0 first-inning lead when Irving Falu led off the game with a double and scored on Tony Abreu's single. The lead held until the fifth when the Isotopes scored four runs. With runners on first and third, Jerry Sands singled in one, Jeff Baisley singled home another and Scott Van Slyke singled in two more.

The Storm Chasers answered in the sixth with four runs of their own on an Anthony Seratelli grand slam to take a 5-4 lead. Back-to-back blasts by Clint Robinson and Max Ramirez in the seventh gave Omaha a 7-4 lead, but the Isotopes responded in the home half of the inning with the five runs.

Sands singled, Baisley was hit by a pitch and Van Slyke walked to load the bases. Tim Federowicz's sacrifice fly to center fielder David Lough scored Sands while the others moved up a base. Josh Fields then tripled home two runs and after a Trent Oeltjen walk, Josh Bard singled in Fields. Elian Herrera then hit a sac fly to left to plate Oeltjen.

Will Savage (2-0) got the win and Ethan Hollingsworth (1-1) took the loss.
