Hoosiers Find Ways To Win Two From NU
Nebraska out-hit Indiana 7-2 in game one and 9-7 in game two, but came up short in both ends of a doubleheader Saturday afternoon in Bloomington, losing 4-2 and 6-2.

Nebraska out-hit Indiana 7-2 in game one and 9-7 in game two, but came up short in both ends of a doubleheader Saturday afternoon in Bloomington, losing 4-2 and 6-2.

In game one, Indiana scored three times on one hit in the first inning and added a sixth-inning run without the aid of a hit. IU scored again without a hit in the first inning of game two, before adding two runs in the third on only one hit.

When Indiana scored twice in the fifth inning of game two to take a 5-0 lead, it marked the first run-scoring inning where the Hoosiers recorded more than one hit.

Nebraska fell to 31-20 on the season and 12-7 in Big Ten. Indiana improved to 26-25 and evened its Big Ten record at 10-10.
