Duct Tape Crafts

The comedian who termed duct tape “the handyman's secret weapon" would be happy to see children are learning there's lots more we can do with the magic product.

They're taking part in classes at "Create" in Elkhorn and learning how to make all kinds of things with the "all-purpose tape".

This is more than your father's gray duct tape.

It comes in all kinds of colors and patterns now.

“Duct tape is very versatile,” Lisa Waddell, owner of “Create” said. “It can be used to make key chains, purses, you can cover books with it. You can make bracelets, I’ve seen earrings, hair bows. You can do about anything with duct tape."

This is just one of the camps that "Create" will run on days when the kids are out of school.
