A gold coin was found in a Salvation Army red kettle Tuesday night at the Hobby Lobby store 173rd and Maple, in Omaha.
The 1/10th ounce United States gold Eagle coin is worth about $170, according to North Omaha Corps Officer, Lt. Pamela Kasten.
The Tree of Lights $3.1 million campaign began November 9th. As of December 11th, more than $1.647 million has been donated. The Red Kettle Drive runs through December 24th.
