The third of three finalists for the OPS superintendent job met with the public on Thursday night.

Steve Murley from Iowa City public schools interviewed on Tuesday.
The OPS board will select a new superintendent on Monday.

The last of the three candidates will meet with the public on Thursday afternoon. Superintendent Mark Evans is from the Andover, Kansas, Public School system.

The first of three finalists for the OPS superintendent job met with the public on Tuesday night.

The other two finalists will meet with the board and the public on Wednesday and Thursday.
Carey Wright, head of District of Columbia Public Schools, will be available to the public on Wednesday, December 12, at 4:30 p.m. at OPS Headquarters at 32nd & Cuming.

Former Ralston superintendent Virginia Moon is the current OPS superintendent. She took over for Nancy Sebring who resigned days after being hired after an email scandal surfaced at her former job in Des Moines.
